Shalini Solomon MA, BCBA, LBA

Founder | Clinical Director, Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst‍ (HI, MO, NC, NJ)

Hi, I’m Shalini (she/her), and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) who is deeply committed to compassionate care and guiding others through meaningful, informed support. With over 11 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, educators, and school teams across multiple states. I work through a consultative, relationship-centered approach focused on building real-life skills, autonomy, and meaningful quality-of-life outcomes. My approach is intentional, individualized, and grounded in evidence-informed care, with a strong emphasis on cultural humility and affirming support for diverse identities and sexualities.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in autism. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an associate professor in a master’s-level ABA graduate program, where I teach and mentor future behavior analysts as they enter the field. I am also currently pursuing a Doctorate in Behavioral Health with a focus on leadership and management.

Working across multiple states has deepened my understanding of how cultural, regional, and systemic factors shape families’ experiences, informing a thoughtful, strengths-based approach to problem solving and support. Throughout my career, I have collaborated closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and school-based teams to promote cohesive systems of care. My experience includes training behavior therapist (BTs/RBTs), supervising those pursuing BCBA certification, and supporting services across home, clinical and educational settings, with a strong focus on school-based work.

My work centers on caregiver-led coaching and consultation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical support for families and educators around behavior, boundaries, consent, and body awareness. Using an affirming, developmentally appropriate approach within applied behavior analysis, I support sensitive social and developmental needs, including topics related to relationships, identity, personal safety, and healthy body awareness.
