Shalini Solomon MA, BCBA, LBA

Founder | Clinical Director, Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst‍ (HI, MO, NC, NJ)

Hi, I’m Shalini (she/her), and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with over 12 years of experience in clinical, home and school-based settings across multiple states. My approach is intentional, individualized, and grounded in evidence-informed care, with a strong emphasis on cultural humility and affirming support for diverse identities and sexualities.

I started this practice because I saw a massive gap in how we support neurodivergent individuals, families, and school teams through the sensitive topics of sexual development, body safety, and personal boundaries. Too often, these essential life skills are avoided or delayed because they feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, and most standard clinical approaches haven't quite fit the need for true autonomy, individual dignity, and affirming care.

My clinical specialization is in supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other intellectual disabilities, with a deep background in navigating complex co-diagnoses, developmental differences, and multiple disabilities across the lifespan. I firmly believe the best care happens when we work together, and I have spent years partnering closely with OTs, SLPs, PTs, and educators. This team-based approach ensures that our strategies move past the textbook and are instead clinically sound and completely practical for families and school teams. On the academic side, I bring this real-world perspective to my role as an associate professor in a graduate-level ABA program, while also completing my own journey as a doctoral student in behavioral health.

When I’m not working or teaching, you can usually find me traveling, going for a run, checking out a local coffee shop, or heading to a yoga class!
